Our Dammusi
The residence
Bugeber is a group of dammusi of the end of XIX century, restored in the first decade of 2000 by a couple with a passion for Pantelleria, and get its name by the district where it is. You can enjoy a privileged position with a breathtaking view of nearby Lake
Specchio di Venere and the sea and a singular view of
Punta Spadillo, especially during the sunrise. Night and day peace reigns in the district, pleasantly broken by the baker next door to it with his pickup truck across the district for the sale of bread and
squarate. Infact in
Bugeber, except residents's and few tourists's houses, there is only a pretty little church and a small restaurant. Market or and gas stations are located in Pantelleria center, but knocking on the doors of neighbours you can buy some great purchases: from capers, to grapes, to cheeses,to the homemade sweet. To buy fish, unless you like fishing, you should find fishermen at the harbour of Pantelleria center or fish shop.
